The internationalization strategy of the University of Chile is to build up long-term alliances with international institutions of higher education around the world. The Internationalization Strategy of the Faculty of Medicine is designed to promote academic international relations and cooperation in the field of Health Sciences with prestige institutions of high education by developing agreements based on academic programs, research activities and scientific cooperation. Moreover, the strategy includes undergraduate and graduate students’ as well academic mobility to and from the Faculty.

The Faculty of Medicine of the University of Chile aspires to become an international benchmark, a node of academic excellence and relevance with greater South-South and global associations through joint doctoral programs, internships, and co-tutorship of thesis in research and training at all programs’ levels.
